Civil Engineering

Outline

Civil Engineering contributes to the development of a modern and dynamic country, while also helping protect its citizens from disasters such as tsunamis and earthquakes. In addition, civil engineers must work in harmony with nature and take into consideration the surrounding environment.

Civil Engineering students first learn the role and attitude of civil engineers. From there, they learn extensively about infrastructure planning, environmental assessment, design, construction management, maintenance, repair, and reinforcement. In addition to lectures, we emphasize practical training such as design and drawing, experiments, surveying practices, investigation of construction sites, and graduation research. In order to deal with advanced management, assessment, and design methods, students are also trained in information processing and computing skills.
