International Students

National Insitute of Technology(KOSEN),Wakayama College has been accepting international students since 1988, and more than 60 students have graduated so far. Those students are mostly from Asian countries, but there have been some from other areas. In the current academic year (2018), there are 8 students from abroad in total: five from Malaysia, and one each from Kingdom of Cambodia, Kingdom of Thailand and Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Though most of our international students are grantees of the Japanese Government Scholarship, or Malaysian students granted by their government, Wakayama College also accepts privately funded international students.

Academic Exchange

National Insitute of Technology(KOSEN),Wakayama College has an academic exchange agreement with Shanghai Dian Ji University, China. Under the agreement, a delegation of students from this university visits our university for about ten days every July while a delegation of students from our college students visit Shanghai every March. In addition,our college has an academic agreement with Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Surabaya(in 2016),Atma Jaya Catholic University(in 2016) and Bogor Agricultural University of Indonesia(in 2017).
